We've had a marvelous weekend! My parents drove up to Minneapolis from Wisconsin. Yesterday we threw Cy his 8th bday party - he invited the entire class! We rented a park shelter and had a "critter lady" come. She put on a little show with an armadillo, a scorpion, a chinchilla, a hedgehog and more.
Today we just returned from a wonderful brunch with both sets of grandparents and uncles. Afterwards we managed to squeeze in a few photos at the park before the boys got full of water and sand. It is a beautiful day and they got soaked on the shore. They both had to ride home without pants! 'Tis the beginning of a long, adventurous and dirty summer! Cheers!
