'SOTA POP by Explore Minnesota - Launch Party

Just in time for the Superbowl crowds, Explore Minnesota has created a colorful pop-up Art Wall gallery in downtown Minneapolis.

They have a star themed wall like the one you can find at First Avenue. This one has magnetic letters so you can write your name. Or whatever else you want. Just ask Arlo.

This was the summer-themed room. Meant to resemble a day at the lake. Created by Girl Friday.

The rooms are Minnesota-themed and show off our great state during all 4 seasons. Each room was created by a local well-known artist.

In the golf-themed room the carpet is grass and there's a putting green. The Minnesota-window theme was really cool too - just don't try to stand on it if you're a hyper 6 year old.

My boys and I headed there last week for a sneak peek. They had a blast. Arlo especially loved it because they gave him a horn. Oy!

I'm pretty sure they regretted giving Arlo a horn by the end of the event. Fun fact: Arlo's kingergarten teacher loves the Vikings so much she has a Vikings themed tattoo! And... she has taught the entire class the fight song.

You can find 'Sota Pop at 500 Nicollet Mall in the Renaissance Square building in Minneapolis. The exhibit will be open through February 4th.
